I really thought this was funny as hell when Joe sent me the joke.
Hopefully I drew it well enough to convey what he meant by the joke.
Since this comic is meant to be a joke or gag comic, I try to make the
expressions are a bit more... cartoony as compared to
Ninja Spirit. I'm still
getting used to the style as I try and pull it further from what I'm
used to doing when I draw NS.

| I'm excited to be
finally working on a project with River. It's been a long time, maybe
not since we were kids drawing comics together that we worked on the
same project. Hopefully this will do well, and if not, at least we'll
have fun laughing at ourselves! You'd be surprised how much of this
isn't so far off from the truth. So it should be fun! Enjoy!
