"Happy Birthday to my mom!" Thursday May 22nd 2008

First I wanted to make sure I said Happy Birthday to my mom. She's a great mom and I am definitely grateful that she has always supported me in everything I do even if she keeps hounding me that I am not doing good enough. Like I mentioned before most of my artistic skills were inherited from her so I guess that puts all of you in her debt as well!!

Okay I am going to keep this short because I don't have any feeling in the tip of my left ring finger. I have no idea what the F is causing it. It's been like that for the whole week now. It has that pins and needles feeling and general coldness. It's also affecting the sides of my left middle finger and pinkie, but not to the extent of my ring finger. The tingling extends to pretty much the middle of my elbow. As it is now just tapping my finger against the keyboard keys when I type is uncomfortable. If ANYONE knows what might be causing such freakiness please email me. At first I thought I just slept on my arm funny, but a week later it's not so funny anymore. I've been told that such things can be a precursor to a stroke. This is completely unacceptable to me and I'm hoping the person who gave me said information was just using scare tactics to go see a doctor. In any case if the website stops updating and then drops off the face of the earth in 3 months or less (my pay cycle for the webspace), you now know the reason why. If that does happen, I apologize in advance for not finishing Ninja Spirit like I promised.

Anyway to be less morbid, I would like to talk about the comic itself shortly. I know this may be a let down after seeing the cool action scenes in the last comic, but it had to be done. This scene was originally going to span two comics, but I ended up doing a rewrite and skimmed it down to one comic without losing a lot. In fact I think it's much better this way. I suppose Joe didn't have to try and get Yuki to wake up about Key, but they are best friends and I think this shows that Joe isn't about to put his love for Key over his friendship with Yuki.

Alright I'm going to stop now since it's getting more uncomfortable to type by the minute. I'll see you back here next week as we finally move elsewhere. I won't spoil just who will be in the next comic, but chances are they are smarter than all of us combined. Have a great weekend everyone!!
