"IPod Generation" Thursday November 29th, 2007

It was only a matter of time before something like this happened after how the last chapter ended. The theme of betrayal is not new in Ninja Spirit as Joe pretty much did something similar way back in Chapter two. There is a big difference though because back then Joe realized that Kelly wasn't evil and Jules pretty much knows that the Fuzen are evil. Julienne is definitely one of the more complex characters in Ninja Spirit though. Most of the characters are pretty easy to read or write for, but Miss Berlioz is problematic. I wouldn't change her though because it gives a depth to her character that isn't as pronounced in some of the others in Ninja Spirit.

As for the art I was pretty satisfied with the final result. I did end up liking the ink drawing of the last panel better though. For some reason when I drew it on the computer, the eyes changed ever so slightly. They had originally been a bit more squinty and seemed to convey more of a colder look for Julienne. I did like the smoke I added for P1 though as it seemed like a nice tough to give the after effect of Key's Burning Phoenix Exclamation just the right finish.

Oh and I finally broke down and bought myself an IPod. I had won an IPod Mini from work a few years ago and I liked it, but I wasn't in love with it. However I recently just wanted something that would be able to hold all my music and not just the 50 or so songs I care to listen to at a time. So I broke down and got the Classic 80 gig and joined the millions. I'm sure I will enjoy it and will be happy with my purchase.

On a side note, I have pretty much completed Jump Ultimate Stars and it was well worth the time spent on it. I'm looking forward to breaking into Phantom Hourglass, but I think I'll wait till I beat Pokemon Diamond first.

Also I will be heading back up for a Tahou's run at the end of the year when Tom makes a guest appearance back in the States after spending a few months over in England. I think the rest of the college gang will be going as well and it should make for a good times... hell any trip to Tahou's is good times!

Anyway that was the random facts about my life right now. I will see you back here in a week and we'll get to see what happens to our favorite redhead ninja!
