"Rear Window" Thursday October 4thth, 2007

Hey guys I'm actually typing this while watching one of my top 5 movies of all time - Rear Window. I just happened to chance upon it on AMC as I was flipping through the channels. I love this movie. Unlike the creepy guy he plays in Vertigo, this is classic Jimmy Stewart as we all know and love him and it has of course one of the classiest ladies in the world with Grace Kelly. I don't see any other actress becoming a princess in real life. I have probably harped about this movie before, but I love it that much. Of course most of you younger folk will watch this movie and be like "hey, this is Disturbia!!" You should go and shoot yourself now.

Anyway enough about Rear Window and more about the comic. Here we go with the Dave and Kris rivalry again. It's been a while since we've seen Dave in action so I hope you all enjoy it. For those of you a little confused about Dave's trap. He simply laid out a roll of Chain Mail. By maneuvering Kris in the middle of it, he could just unleash his Lightning Execution into the chain link of the mail and electrocute anyone standing within the metal mesh. Whether or not Kris manages to escape or be defeated by this trap, you'll find out next Friday.

Oh and if you need to know the rest of my top 5 favorite movie list here it is... hold on a second... WOO!!! Grace Kelly just appeared for the first time in the movie. Lisa. Carol. Freemont. Sorry, I had to watch that scene. If I am ever in a cast and have sit in a wheelchair all day, I would definitely want my girlfriend to show up with 4 star restaurant takeout. Although Rear Window also illustrates that even an awesome girlfriend as awesome as Grace Kelly still makes you insane. Jimmy Stewart can't go back out on a field assignment fast enough. (The Ms Lonely Hearts window story, while sad, is an awesome side story.)
