"Nothing New really..." Friday August 10th, 2007

This comic was a departure from the original script. Originally I was going to have Kimen and Sydney show up around panel 4 or so and then continue on to what will be the next comic at this point. However as recently as two weeks ago I had this conversation between Jules and Key pop into my head. I pictured the two of them sitting there in this Japanese garden and then I wondered what they might talk about. The usual non-important stuff, but in my head I pictured Key always wanting to bring up Tom to Julienne since the two stopped talking. So finally when this situation presented itself, she bit the bullet and started the conversation. Julienne's responses to Key's questions and comments are very telling of her own emotions and I felt it displayed a chance for both characters to develop further. I hope you didn't mind this short interlude in the action and I promise that those of you in KIND will finally get to see Key in her first real fight.

Okay here is the updated Ninja Spirit update schedule for the month of August. It doesn't look good, but hopefully you will bear with me while I go off on some grand adventures.

Next week, I will try very hard to get one comic up, but that will depend on whether or not I stay up in Albany till Saturday. I leave to visit Tom before he goes off to England on Tuesday. So chances are there will be filler for the week or one comic.

On the third week of August I will try and have one comic up before I go to Syracuse. From there, there will be pictures or some sort of filler till I return in the first week of September. I realize that's about two comics for the next three weeks at best so I apologize in advance. I hope you all have a great weekend and I'll see you back here next week!

"Where in the World is Misaki Yuki?" Contest Details
