"Curses..." Tuesday July 3rd, 2007

It sucks, but I have filler up for now because I had to pull another all day and night shift at the restaurant on Monday. It sucks really bad because I sorta finally caught up on all the NS work and I actually have up to three comics drawn and inked. I really wanted to get my updating schedule back on track and then boom I lost all day Monday. I apologize, but again my dad needed me to work and I do sorta need the money seeing as I will be going to Otakon at the end of the month. However Rob came through with some fanart that he graciously painted in Painter that I could put up for filler. He also drew a Caine fanart, but we went with the theme appropriate Sydney art for the filler.

He told me that the above work took him about 2 hours and that it still isn't really finished. The above drawing was sketched out and then painted over in Painter using what I assume was a tablet. I have no feel for the dratted things and it really comes down to something tiny like the lack of friction of the stylus on the plastic of the tablet. However Rob doesn't have such hangups and came up with the above piece, which I really like. I think it's scary to tell you the truth and that's what I think of when I think of Sydney. She seems to be normal and beautiful, but on the inside is this scary person who wants to hurt you not just physically, but mentally as well. Anyway I want to thank Rob for coming  in clutch.
