"Happy Birthday to Brother Tom" Wednesday May 30th, 2007

Just wanted you all to know that I am still alive and well. I wish I could've gotten something up for Monday, but I was busy with the family and such celebrating mass birthdays. Since my mom's birthday was last week and my brothers is this week we did the combine birthday stuff this week. I apologize, but it's been a while since I've been home for the combined Daniels household birthday fun.

Here is the late comic and I hope you enjoy it. We should see the resolution of everything soon, but don't think you can breathe as soon as this is done because we're heading full steam into the conclusion of another fight.

The big news I want to say is that after so many friggin years of watching them on TV and recently on the internet, I am finally fulfilling one... well one half of one of the things I want to do before I die. I will be going to the Giants vs Mets game Thursday and it will be my first time seeing one of my favorite teams live. It's the price I pay for loving the west coast teams when I live out east. Of course my real desire is to see the Giants play at home at AT&T Park, but this will do for now. I haven't felt this excited about something since I was a kid. Actually... I feel like a kid. It reminds me of the first time I got to go to Disney World for the first time. I was an adult at the time, but I really felt like a kid again then as I do now. I'm planning on getting a program and everything. The only thing I am worried about is wearing my Giants hat. I'm torn because I want to wear it, but at the same time I don't feel like getting jumped like Dave walking home from my house with his arm in a sling (long story). Whatever... I will just be happy to see them play and hopefully they'll win like they did tonight and not lose like they did on Tuesday... Don't even get me started on Tuesday... TWO BALKS?! Are you friggin kidding me?! I will calm down... calm... down...

So this comic is dedicated to Matt Cain. May it bring you the twin gifts of control and velocity so that you may strike out those cheap Mets (especially Reyes) with great vengeance and furious anger.

Oh and despite the fans of their respective teams, I hope the Padres, DBacks, and Dodgers all break their ankles. All of them. Well maybe not the Dodgers because ankle breaking would be too good for puppy killers. I hope they all break their wrists washing their trucks and we can all laugh at how idiotic they all are in addition to them being injured and sucking.
