"Its all about Spiderman 3..." Thursday May 3rd, 2007

Well as I promised, Kentan is about to unleash a can of whoop ass on Tom. I guess Tom wasn't the only one who was ready to move on and start rebuilding his life. For those of you who might be confused, Kentan was and as you can see, still is a Monk of Amaterasu at heart and his natural element will be Fire and not Void. I mean it's not Burning Phoenix, but then again Kentan is no goddess... or a redhead geek girl with huge glasses I suppose. Either way this fight is about to near its conclusion, but if you think you know how it's going to end, I promise you something to mess that up.

As I mentioned in the post title, I will attempt to go see Spiderman 3 this weekend when it opens. I have always been a fan of the Spiderman series as I have mentioned in this space before. It was one of the very first comic book movies besides the original Batman that was actually a "Great" movie. Although I do like Spiderman more than I like the original Batman. I hope, hope, with my fingers crossed, that Spiderman 3 does not turn into a convoluted mess with way too many villains. I think they did well in the first two movies to stick with one villain a piece. Alfred Molina was by far the most kick ass comic villain since Nicholson in his portrayal of Doctor Octopus. However they haven't let me down yet (I'm looking at you Harry Potter 3) so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Just like I extend that benefit to the Dark Knight when I heard they cast Heath Ledger as the new Joker.

Well I'll let you know on Monday/Tuesday if I saw it and what I thought. Speaking of which, the comic will definitely be Tuesday nest week because I'll be pulling a full shift on Sunday, which is when I get a bulk of the drawing and line art done. Enjoy the weekend and I will see you all next week!!
