"Cherry Blossoms" Monday April 30th, 2007

Well the comic is back. As you can see, even though Tom might be better off just going full out now, he's taking the chance to try and defuse the situation. A definite change in demeanor from how he started this fight. Though I'm sure you were able to predict just what Kentan's reaction was going to be. So be sure to come back on Thursday as we get to see who will prevail. I'm going to say that despite not having armor, Kentan is still a tough customer and he won't go down without surprising Tom or you.

I'm generally in a decent mood right now. I did enough thinking in the past week and I just needed to get my mind off things to get my breath back. Thanks to Julienne, I have done so thanks to repeated listening to one of our favorite bands, Sponge. I know they're not immensely popular, but we both love Vinnie and the rest of the group. It's a shame that Sponge is now really just Vinnie and some guys he's recruited to become Sponge, but I digress. I think it's one of those bands that for both of us, the songs all carry a lot of memories and feeling behind them. For me, Sponge can instantly teleport me back to my college days and beyond. There are no key memories, but for me it's more like just the feeling I get when I listen to those songs. This time it was "Rainin'" that knocked me back to my senses.

I will see you all on Thursday/Friday and I will leave you with this J Pop tune for those of you who like such cheesiness. It's one of my favorites and the lyrics fit the way I feel at the moment. It's a good kind of painful I think. Don't you wish you could understand Japanese?
