"Sydney is not one to mess around" Monday April 9th, 2007

Woo for action scenes!! I had fun drawing this one. To tell you the truth, I was afraid this was one of those times where my imagination was way head of my drawing ability, but I think it worked out okay. I know the reason why some of you read is to see the kick ass action sequences. I have no problems with that and so you can say the effort in today's comic is for you. I think we can establish that speed is not the best way to try and take on Sydney Albrecht. What could that mean for Yuki? you'll find out when the fight between Yuki and Sydney continues on Thursday/Friday.

In other news I want to say how PISSED I am at the Giants. The SF Giants are off to their worst start in over 20 years and I am already cursing baseball and sports. I mean after ignoring one of the worst seasons by the LA Kings, I clung to the hope that the Giants would be good and make me forget the abomination in LA. I followed Spring Training like a hawk and now to see them sitting at 1-6 which includes a sweep by the fracking Dodgers is pissing me off just even writing about it. I hate you sports. You make me feel as shitty as chicks do. Although unlike any chick, I will always love you Giants, so please stop breaking my heart and START FRICKING SCORING RUNS!!!

Breathe...

I got to hang out with George this past weekend and I had alot of fun. We played some GH II which is always good times. It would help if we had a second guitar controller, but what can you do. He also dropped two gems on me. One of them was Shaun of the Dead. Tom had been trying to get me to watch that movie for over a year and I finally watched in this past weekend. I LOVED it. I love horror movies and despite their lack of supernatural Ringu-type horror I am a fan of zombie movies. *Spoiler in Link*Shaun of the Dead was a brilliant movie and now I can't wait to see the same guys in their new movie, Hot Fuzz.

The Second gem was the band Cartel who I think is the bee's knees right now. I listened to the album while drawing this comic. If you never heard them then I recommend you give them a shot.

I leave you with this one last clip which thanks to the guys at Bizarre Uprising has been stuck in my head when not listening to the Cartels. See you on Thursday.

River is not taking lip from zombies.
