"She Says" Wednesday January 31st, 2007

Wow, I actually got this comic finished and done on time. I really wanted to get it done and out there. Basically I wanted to capture one thing with this comic. That's the shock and pain when you see someone you had feelings for with someone else. Everyone has gone through it in some form or another. We all know that pain is something that makes you want to rip your heart out of your chest so you can stop it or at least take a reprieve from that awfulness. Tom is in that place now. Hopefully you can see and more importantly feel it. Feel why Tom can't even say anything and can just slump down and curl up. I wish I had the skills to really, really get that through my art. I was helped in this one by a friend who's going through a rough spot in his life and I was able to feel the pain he had inside himself and draw this.

I think that's really all I need to say.
