"Kibou no Kakera" Monday - January 29th, 2007

Well like I mentioned on Thursday, here is a filler. I hope you don't mind. I actually took the time to fix up Julienne's Homecoming dress from when you first saw it in last Thursday's comic. Key's dress was easy because I used a real dress as a reference for it. Jules' dress on the other hand is a hodge podge of gothic lolita style. I really can't stand one thing about this image, but I don't think it's something anyone besides myself would notice so... Oh and in case you were wondering... the "real" Julienne would probably not be wearing gothic lolita unless it was Halloween and even then I'm pretty sure she'd wear something else. I shudder at the thought. She's more of an alt rock chick, but again these characters aren't exactly like their real life counter parts... just based off of them.

The title of the filler comes from a translated lyric from the song mentioned in the title of this rant.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my rant on Thursday. While I'm glad some of you know what it's like, I also feel bad that you know what it's like. What I have realized is that in order to feel that passion in my art, I need to feel the full range of emotions for real. I'm not ready for that just yet. I'll take my anesthetical apathy over the alternative thank you.

I think that's about it. The comic will return on Thursday and it should be a good one.
