"Now you see dead people" Monday - January 15th, 2007

I almost gave you all a heads up that another death was about to occur. Some of you may have guessed this was going to happen, but since I usually announce these things ahead of time, I thought I'd try and shock you by have a character die unannounced. I apologize to all the Izumi fans in advance. I love the character and I love drawing her, but I couldn't change the story because I had gotten too attached to the character. I hope you can understand. Trust me when I say, I will kill off anyone at any time. Is it unfair that Izumi was killed? Yes. Life is a bitch like that.

My only wish was that I had the time and effort to fully expand upon Izumi's character. Like the annotated Chapter One that is the current story, I had a further arc in which Izumi got more screen time and more explanation. Due to the time constraints that bit had to be cut. If Ninja Spirit ever becomes an anime, man will you guys get the bonus stuff instead of crappy filler arcs!!

I'll see you all on Thursday where I think we need to take a break from the death and depression and get into the angst and overblown drama that is a high school homecoming dance. Will that help ease the pain?

Anyway I wanted to mention stuff about the Hyjinx show, but given the gravity of this comic, I think I'll leave that till the next post.
