"Coming Home" Thursday - December 14th, 2006

Hope you enjoyed this one. I was going to jump right in the action, but decided to stick this comic back in after I almost scrapped it. It gets more into the character of Sydney as a whole and even raises a question as to the Spiral and it's relevance to Joe. I know people in the forum have mentioned Joe's connection to Amatsu and his Go Shintai and this is a small part of that. More on this to come at a future date. I did like the way the comic turned out as a whole and I'm glad I reversed my decision and added it back in.

It's been a crazy week, but things are finally beginning to calm down. I recently purchased FF XII, which I have yet to play. I had originally gotten a PSP game called PopoloCrois, but I decided I really didn't want to invest that much time in a hand held RPG. I returned it and was going to get something a bit more action or tactic oriented, but seeing as how I forgot my PSP up in Syracuse I figured now would be as good as time as any to buy FF XII. I had been meaning to buy it for a while now. The selling point being Gabe from PA describing the storyline as Lost-esque. Well even though I've tempered me feelings for Lost any time a game can give me that same cool WTF is going on here then I'm in. I'm hoping for a Mr. Eko like character. Anyway I'll let you all know what I think about the game once I sit down and play it.

Oh and in other news... my brother got his paper back and the grade was..... an 85!! Graded on a curve it becomes a 90. Seeing as how my brother said that the one 95 in the class was described by the professor as being the best paper he's ever read, then I feel pretty good with the 85. Though really I feel happiest for my brother cause that gives him a little breathing room for his final. He graduates in a week or two and as soon as he does he already has a sweet Accounting job in the city. Ethically was writing his paper right? No, but seeing as he was under stress for ton of other things I'm happy I could help him out... and make some money to use in my trip upstate at the same time.

Anyway that's about it for now. I'll be back on Monday for a usual update and we'll see if Izumi can escape Sydney...
