"The buck stops here" Sunday - November 20th, 2006

It seems that Dawson VanBrocklin has been a busy body during the off season. Somehow I don't think that his rehab included getting to be able to use spirit. I'm sure most of you will be able to sorta guess why he can use it and how, but you'll just have to wait for the details at a later date. As a side not in more parallels to Chapter Two, you might like to know that Joe's line in P5 was spoken by someone else last Homecoming. Also while the outcome is flipped, you can see Tom share a similar reaction watching Van Brocklin walk off that the latter had during Chapter two. I also had a different P9 planned, but it turned into utter crap and I had to scrap it and do a recycle job of previous panels. I hate to do it, but hopefully you don't mind.

I have some other NS related news to share with you as well. I am soon going to run a contest in the Ninja Spirit forum. It's a weekly elimination trivia/imagination game and I think it should be a blast. However I know you can't run a contest without a prize and seeing as I still have two posters that I have yet to mail out I figure I'll have a prize that doesn't involve me going to the post office. So without further ado...

The prize for the NS Forum Survivor game will be a one panel cameo in the Ninja Spirit comic!! It won't have too much to do with the story, but you'll be immortalized in the NS comic as well as get to see yourself turned into an NS style drawing. If this prize doesn't do it for you, you can substitute a full color drawing of any NS character emailed directly to you.

Now most people do this to get readers or promote the comic, but I'm doing this for NS readers to have fun and get to know each other. I think the game should be fun. To join in on the game simply register on the NS Forum and reply to the message in the Forum Survivor section saying you want in the game. you'll find additional info about the game located there as well. This game will run till we have one winner and so the length will be decided by the number of people that enter the game. There are no restrictions other than having to join the forum. If you have any questions, email me or Private message me once you register. The deadline to enter this game/contest will be by the end of Wednesday 11/22/06 EST!!

On some sad news, there will not be a regular comic up on Thanksgiving as it's my favorite holiday of the whole year. There will be a filler on Thanksgiving and due to a promise I made it'll be of a particular redhead. The regular comic will return hither forth next Monday. Sorry about the filler, but it's turkey day and I LOVE turkey day. I'll send some holiday wishes come Thursday so for those of you in the states, enjoy Thanksgiving Eve. Those of you in the wonderful countries not called the US of A, I hope you have better than average week!!
