"River is listed as Probable with flu-like symptoms..." Sunday - November 5th, 2006

What truly craptacular weekend. I spent the whole weekend in bed pretty much with what I describe as flu-like symptoms. It was pretty bad. I wasn't even sure I was going to be able to do the comic, but here it is. If it was only my sick self I had to contend with it wouldn't have been that bad. I had intended to go out and find some Bristol paper this weekend because I am all out. However, since I was sick I couldn't get any and I ended up drawing the comic on this crappy paper that wouldn't take ink or my blue lead. The inked copy of this comic is just a disaster and every line in this comic was redone in Photoshop. Just a disaster. Anyway I hope it came out okay. I think P7 came out the most decent, but I can tell you this... I swear I am going out to buy Bristol even if I'm sick.

Also I wanted to mentioned that yes, P9 should look familiar. It's almost the same picture from the same scene a year previous in storyline time. Foreshadowing? Maybe.

Well I think with today's comic we got through the first appearances of all the good guys for Chapter 5. It's a sticky situation Dave finds himself in really. He likes Julienne, but he's got to have warning bells going off in his head that maybe Julienne is going through some rebound phase. If she is or isn't I just can't say. Anyway before we get to some football action, we have one last bit of high school drama to get through... I would advise you to not miss Thursday's comic.

Till then I hope I get more paper and feel better...
