"Back in Kawasaki...USA..." Wednesday - November 1st, 2006

 I hope you didn't get confused by the time shift. This comic comes back out of the flashback of the past few comics. Yuki has been training for two months and not only did he not get back to Kawasaki by the end of the summer, but now he's way, way late. Luckily as we can see in the last few panels, things don't seem to be going all out of sorts just yet.

We join in on the action as Kawasaki and St Nickots square off in Kawasaki High's Homecoming game. If you recall, last homecoming game, Tom spoiled the festivities of the Kawasaki crowd by single handedly winning the game for his St Nickots team. However it seems as if he has yet to check in the game and the problems between him and Jules have yet to be resolved... Do I sense some drama?

I also want to mention that as I was pretty psyched to be drawing this comic because I get to reveal Key and Joe's Chapter 5 look. I tweaked them both from what you see on the cast page. So thinking I was going to do a decent job since I was psyched, I drew the comic and was disgusted by what I saw on the paper. It was a wreck. I almost just started over. However I powered through it and ended up redrawing half of it on the computer instead. To tell you the truth, I'm actually kinda happy with the way it turned out now. Hopefully you enjoyed it as well.
