"Here we are at the precipice" Wednesday - October 12th, 2006

I was trying to decide who to go with for my last one shot and I guess the sketch I had of Sydney came out better than the one I had of Mikail. The short story of this drawing is that I used crappy paper for the sketch and ended up inking on that so the line art when I scanned it in was jaggier than usual. Luckily for me I finally learned how to use the damn pen tool in Photoshop recently. The line art in the above picture is pretty much all stroked path lines. I wish I could do this for every picture I drew for the comic, but it just takes FOREVER. It looks really nice though so for special drawings or panels I might give it this treatment. Anyway I hope you enjoyed these one shots and I thank you for your patience. It will soon be rewarded.

So to confirm the comic will return on Monday, though things will get kicked off with the Chapter 5 splash page as mentioned. They'll be other things to look at however so I think you'll enjoy the updated art and stuff I'll be throwing up the site. When I put up the splash page I'll be sure to list in my post all the updated things so you can check them out.

I will mention that NS Forum members are starting an advance on the Chapter 5 festivities as I have opened up the Ninja Spirit Battle League. It's a forum based game that I explained in my last post. It should be fun and if you are interested in starting a clan for it check out the NS forums. for all of you who played Fighting Spirit, previous FS players have taken to calling it FS Lite. The deadline to join the initial game will be by the end of Sunday so join while you can!!

I'd also like to say how much I HATE satellite television. It's what my parents have because they can get Japanese TV. However as anyone who has satellite knows, it cuts out if the weather is bad. Anyway let me just say I was watching Lost tonight and about right during the commercial break right when shit was about to go down with Sun, I lose signal and I miss the rest of the episode. Yeah... let me just say that me being super freaking pissed would be an understatement. I just thought I'd share that with you and say even though it costs more always go Cable. F satellite.
