"Picture Perfect" Wednesday - August 16th, 2006

If you're keeping score at home, George is now 14 and Kelly and Kris are both 13. The last three frames of the comic take place after the end of Chapter One and as thus, both George and Kelly are the ages they were when the comic first started; 15 and 14 respectively. It's been a while since I've drawn Kelly and I have to say I think this is the best I've drawn her in the past two comics.

Lets delve into the story for a bit shall we? Though we sorta knew it, Beth was fatally injured before Kelly and George entered the temple. The same could not be said about Kris however. You want his side of the story you shoulda picked his side story... heh... The second point that I want to point out is Beth saying something to Kelly. All I can say is that what is said is one of the biggest secrets of the NS comic and is part of the real reason Kelly decided on her new course of action as seen in the second half of today's comic. Repercussions and a hint to what was said in this conversation has been laid into the groundwork of the comic already and when everything is revealed you can go back and be like ahhhh.... so that's what that meant.
