"Nothing new to report" Sunday - August 7th, 2006

And thus begins the very first Ninja Spirit side story. I know I mentioned the pace would be a bite faster than in the usual comic, but this is one of the slower ones in the story. From here we'll start going into Salem's past and the events that led him being on a plane to Japan. It might be a little confusing at first, but I swear it'll all make sense by the end of the story.

I'll be heading into the city this week to fill out my paperwork for my Japanese passport. I've been delayed a bit waiting for paperwork to come in from Japan detailing my family ancestry and crap like that. From there it'll be another week or two to get my passport and from there I'll be on my way to Japan. Sweetness.

In other news, I finally broke down and branched into another MMORPG besides City of Heroes. I still love CoH to death, but it feels somewhat Syracuse to me at this point so I just wanted to do something different. So enter the game EVERYONE and their mother plays... World of Warcraft. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with it so far. It's rough getting your feet wet in a new game. However Dave says he will reactivate his WoW account and we'll be casting spells and hacking monsters soon enough.

Oh and I have to say Long Island is devoid of any soul. If you ever think about moving here, don't. It's a pit. A soulless pit. It is the waste product of NYC. Look at a map. LI doesn't look like a fish, it's a piece of bedrock jutting out the ass of New York. Sorry to those of you who like Long Island, but this place is depressing and superficial as hell.

River ponders being back on LI.
