"Say Yes" Sunday - July 9th, 2006

My time in Syracuse grows shorter and shorter as my impending move back first to Long Island and then Japan looms closer. I'll apologize in advance for a spotty update schedule in the next few weeks. Before I get into the comic, I'll touch on that... As far as I know there won't be a comic this Thursday or next Thursday. I'm taking off the rest of this week to spend time with friends as we do our last hurrah in Syracuse and Rochester. Next week, I'll have just gotten 4 teeth pulled and pumped full of drugs. Beyond that I might not update on time the following Monday as I move down to Long Island. Although I should be able to update that week, just a bit late. From there I'll be making the move to Japan and the comic will be put on hold till I get settled down and gain internet access where I'll be living. So for now... no comic this Thursday or next and a late comic two Monday's from now.

Now that is out of the way, lets get into today's comic. It's been a while since we've Sydney and I can say that my work drawing in a different style for Fighting Spirit paid dividends with Sydney's new and improved look. I think I've finally gotten that super hot senior aspect I had been shooting for. I apologize to all the K.I.N.D. members. I never seem to give the poor girl a break do I? But hey what is High School without a little drama?

So this is about it... I think they'll be 2 or 3 comics left in the chapter depending on how much I want to go into the last scene. It wasn't really my favorite chapter to write because I had to cut and trim most of it down to quicken a pace that would've been Megatokyo slow. However looking back at it, I think it came out alright. I'll go more into my thoughts about Chapter 4 when I finally end it. From there we'll see how and when Chapter 5 will begin. Most likely I'll unleash my secret project on you before Chapter 5. All I can say is Jitterbug baby. It's the mad bombs.
