"Happy 4th of July" Sunday - July 2nd, 2006

For those of you living in the states I want to wish you all an early happy Independence Day. Be safe and try not to blow anything up or lose any limbs. I swear my dog never used to be afraid of fireworks, but now he goes into this little trembling-like-the-world-is-ending freak out mode. Couple that with the lightning storms we've been getting recently and he's been kinda been all worn out from the constant skittishness. Poor Gai.

So anyway I hope today's comic wasn't too jarring for you. I thought it was a nice way to segue into the epilogue portion of Chapter 4. What you can assume from this is that Joe and the others were able to find Yuki and that he was indeed floating in the middle of the ocean as was evidenced at the end of last week's comic. What is new news is that the Hyourinken was damaged in Yuki's fight with his brother. So now begins his quest to fix the damage and it appears that quest will bring him to Japan.

From here you'll see not only what Julienne is up to, but Yuki's farewell at the airport which will bring out Joe and everyone's favorite redhead, Key Lime Pitrowski. What's the chances I'll have some closure to the Yuki and Key thing? About the same chance that we'll see someone who hasn't been seen all chapter show up before I end things!
