"A Day Behind" Wednesday - June 7th, 2006

Sorry about the continuing saga of the late comic. Just going through kind of a stressful time right now and it actually shut me down for like two hours tonight. Literally the only thing I could do was go around pacing. I don't know if you could call it a panic attack. It was more of a general uneasiness. I am not emo. For those of you not in the know my life took a radical shift when I went from being engaged to not being engaged. Casual comic readers saw it as me not being able to draw for a month. For the most part I'm coping, but now that I let my parents and family in on it and the ensuing drama and it takes me places I don't want to go. Like I said I try not to let it affect NS too much, but sometimes you just have to sit and focus past unpleasantness.

The current plan is either to stay in Syracuse or move to Japan and stay with relatives. Sounds like randomness, but the plan is a bit more concrete than it sounds. My parents are having me come down to Long Island in a few weeks and then the big discussion happens and I figure out what the hell I'm doing. Again most of the time I try and keep a level head, but as time for change grows closer then other uneasiness seeps in.

Anyway I'm sure this is not what you came to the site to see so I'll cut it short by saying that the comic will be up late Thursday or first thing Friday morning. I apologize to everyone for not having anything solid up.

PS - I  don't know whether to laugh or cry about the damn situation, but on a side note I just logged into the recently destroyed and rebuilt Ninja Spirit forum when I see that those bastards released ANOTHER update to the software. Updates I have to keep on top of to prevent my site from being suspended by my hosting company. They couldn't do this last week? WTF...  On the brightside, I know what I'm doing this weekend!!
