"Birthdays" Sunday - May 21st, 2006

Continuing with the birthday season, it's my mom's birthday tomorrow, well today if you're reading the comic on Monday. I'm sure you all love your moms and I am no exception to that. Like I mentioned before I believe my artistic inclination came from her side of the family so I thank her for that. So Happy Birthday mom!

Well this comic came out somewhat mixed. I have somehow forgotten how to draw Joe as every panel with him in it came out looking not so good. On the flip side I am getting much better at drawing Dai and his damn mask. I think last comic's P1 was the only time I had trouble with it in the past two comics. Plus I really like the way P3 came out. Very dynamic looking.

Well you didn't think this fight would end this soon did you? I mean it is the last fight of the chapter and it's got a Empire Strikes Back vibe to it. Like Luke isn't very well expected to defeat Vader, so you might see Yuki not being able to beat Dai. This fight's massive conclusion is coming up soon and while I had hoped to time it to coincide with Spirit 300, it just might not happen. Expect some craziness as Yuki and Dai continue their fight to the very end!
