"The Day the Art Died" Sunday - April 2nd, 2006

All I can say right now is that my heart was broken and while some people might be able to find solace in their art, I alas find none. I can't say the comic is dead, but as of right now I have no passion left for it. I truly live life day by day, hour by hour. I am not in terrible pain and there is no emergency... I think. It did not end badly, but things like this never end happily. I am okay right now, but the fire to draw and share with you is not here. I will regain it when I piece together the broken pieces of myself. I wish all of you happiness and fun and love. I hope this comic has always given you something of that. I wish this passion I had was able to bring some joy to each of you. I am sorry to all of you that I need to take this break now. I will try and continue to put up old sketches I made and know that while they bring me no happiness right now, I hope they do to you. I will see you all again.

We were singing, "bye-bye, miss american pie."

River is.
