"Fighting Spirit" Sunday - January 8th, 2006

I thought the dialogue for today's comic was pretty good. Unlike Tom, Julienne has no problems confronting Kentan about his choices concerning his quest for revenge and where it led him. Although that's pretty much all I got. I think I'm definitely getting used to drawing Kentan. Although he's bulked up and lost some fat since becoming evil, drawing-wise he's looking better and better. Same goes for Julienne really. Jules started out looking pretty good in Chapter 4, but then somewhere a month or two later I totally didn't like the way she looked. I've been tweaking it still and while her hair still bothers me some, I can deal.

On the plus side I also think I'm getting better at drawing females. Don't get me wrong it's not good, but it's getting better. I'm sure it'd be easier to go all big boobs and all, but I wanted to do something less I dunno sexual? I'm rambling.

I will however do some pimping and I want everyone to check out Whogirl. It's a pretty froody comic and I recommend it. The art's sweet and the character is one I can see a lot of people digging.

One more before I go. I wanted to announce what could be one of the craziest and stupidest ideas I've had in a while and that's the reopening of Fighting Spirit. If you're in to martial arts, web based RP'ing, and a mix of good old fashioned drama then check out Fighting Spirit. While you can join at any time, the game begins this upcoming Saturday and you need to have a character complete and registered in order to compete in the first month of fighting. So if you want to play a cool game with a bunch of people you don't know head over there and check them out. Plus I heard The Kommish was a pretty sexy dude.
