"Post-Thanksgiving" Sunday - November 27th, 2005 Another Thanksgiving has gone and passed us all by folks and I am sad to see it go. I'm back in Syracuse and feeling the impending doom that awaits me at work tomorrow. All is well though as I had a very fun holiday. Before I get to that I wanted to mention today's fanart. This is indeed the second time FatHobbit has sent in a piece of Fanart. Though I should also mention that Thanksgiving's fanart from Stratus was also her second submission as well. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it as you get to see Jules and Izumi in a little cosplay action dressed up as Haruno Sakura and Yamanaka Ino. Again FH didn't really ask me to throw up some love her way so here it is anyway... her webcomic Adventures of the Weird and her Deviantart site. Enjoy be sure to let FH know you liked the fanart! Oh and in case you were wondering the comic will return this Thursday. Just a little reminder. My weekend started off with a great Turkey dinner and I got to spend some time with my family. It's always good times when I get to hang out with my younger brother. Though George is a funny guy and Kris tells some pretty funny stories, my brother makes me laugh just by being a crazy guy. Just spontaneous shit. Good times. On Friday I went shopping and then went out to eat at Gasho's. Awesome. Afterwards, The Kelly, Dave, and I headed out to see George's band Hyjinx play. We got there a little late, but Hyjinx always rocks the house and we got to hear some of their new stuff as well. We also ran into some kid we used to know back in High School named Greg A. All I will say is this. The guy hasn't changed... Dave, my brother and I went drink for the drink the rest of the night and drunken good times continued. I was sober enough to play 10 Days in Africa when I got home. Dave won, but for the life of me I don't even think I got close to winning. I was like on day 2 by the time the game ended. On Saturday we went hunting for an ottoman for The Kelly's mom and then went out to Gza's to hang out. Fun times as we got to see some old skit show we had done as kids revamped in DVD format complete with visual effects. I still get chills listening to the line... "Will You Join my Republican Party?". Good stuff. We also played some board games as well as watch something Rob has been bugging me to watch for ages... The Warriors. So sue me for not having seen it before. I will relent by saying the movie kicked major ass. Needless to say we spent the rest of the weekend saying "CAN YOU DIG IT?" and "Warriors... Come out and PLAAAAY." George had also gotten the PS2 game and I was amazed at how friggin exact they made it like the movie. Eerie. We proceeded to spend the night in the longest game of Killer Bunnies ever played. We went through the whole deck and then some. That's also including two expansion decks as well. The game sorta took on a playoff hockey vibe as you wanted it to end, but at the same time you were afraid of how it was gonna play out. Good times... good times. So that was my weekend in a nutshell. Hope you all had an equally good weekend and I'll see you all on Thursday!!
