Comic for Monday November 21st, 2005

"Thanksgiving" Sunday - November 20th, 2005

Okay first things first, I am taking as usual the Thanksgiving break off so there will be no comic till next Thursday. I hope you can all understand. The turkey day happens to be my favorite holiday and I want to spend the time relaxing and enjoying my time with friends and family. However... that's not to say I'm forgetting about you this holiday. Expect something holiday related to be up this Thursday and some filler to be up on Monday.

Now to spoil anything here, but the more observant of you should know whets going on in today's comic. I will however assume that you don't and will say that shit is gonna go down. I think the comic came out pretty good and I just have to say this is as good a cliffhanger to leave you at. Bwa hahahaha!!

On a side note I went to see HP4: Goblet of Fire this weekend. It was sold out all over the place, but we managed to snag tickets for a 7:40 show on Friday. All I will say is this... it could be the best Potter movie out of the four. Although with the first two being literal translations of the book with little creative flair, and the third being a general disaster in terms of adoption from book to screen I don't know if that's any decent praise. It was definitely pretty and did an amazing job of bringing the feel of the book to the screen despite the amount of material involved. However all of the praise I lavish on it could not begin to mask the biggest problem with the movie. Michael Gambon aka Dumbledore part deux is a crappy actor. Just a hideous performance all around and enough to make me not want to watch any scene with him in it again. I will not waste any more time on this.
