"Supreme lateness" Saturday - September 25th, 2005

I really don't know what to tell you about this one. It just took awhile for me to get done. Much longer than these usually take. I don't know if it was all the gif images and planning how those would work out, but here it finally is. I hope you enjoy all the action sequences in all their moving glory. I really had planned for P7 and 8 to be gifs as well, but then I realized we're talking about putting the comic out on Sunday right before I put out Sunday's comic so...

As you might be able to tell Izumi is definitely a well trained ninja and it looks like the ninja-in-training Julienne is not faring well at all. We also get an explanation for how Julienne freezes people with her flute/piccolo instrument. It turns out she does use a bit of Spirit, but for the most part the power is mostly mind tricks and hypnosis ala snake charming. Well snake charming if it really were the music that made snakes sway back and forth. (If you didn't know Snake Charmers really make snakes sway by the tapping of their feet and swaying of their own bodies and it has nothing to do with the music they play at all)

Sunday's comic should be up on time as usual and we'll see what happens to the vastly outpowered Julienne Berlioz!!
