Comic for Monday August 1st, 2005

"End Recap" Sunday - July 31st, 2005

I do want to mention that after I looked at last Thursday's comic later that day, i decided it wasn't as bad as I thought it had been. I actually kinda liked the way it turned out. Obviously today the actions shifts over to what Tom and Julienne have been up to since Kelly's death. Turns out that everyone has decided that Julienne would be the person that would use the Japanese Sun goddess Amaterasu's Yata Kagamina. You can see the results of her six plus months worth of training in the comic today. She's gotten stronger for sure, but has yet to unleash any sort of spirit.

Hope you weren't too bored with the past two comics as they rehashed what's been going on between Chapter three and four. As the last panel foreshadows, bad things are about to happen. Just what I can't say, but I just wanted to show the transition of Dave telling the recap to him coming into the actual scene. I actually liked having Dave be the one recapping everything as compared to Yuki. It gave everything a bit of a different point of view and voice.

PS- March of the Penguins was pretty sweet.
