"Comic to return Monday" Wednesday - June 1st, 2005
Hope you like today's filler which if you hadn't noticed is the character development sheet I made for Dave Btwys-y-Cawr. Dave has always been the easiest character for me to draw and so I always have fun drawing him. Lord Hawk's sunglasses were pretty fun for me to draw too. Eventually they almost became somewhat organic as they changed to match Dave's expression. I had no intention of it and it sorta just happened. As you can see, even from the beginning I wanted to really convey Dave's intelligence through his look. In the end Dave's character design has changed thge least out of the original sketches and I think it's a testament to how good the original design came out!!
