"The man they call the Latin Snake, Sergio Mora" Wednesday - May 25th, 2005
I don't know if anyone watches the Contender, but it is truly one of the better reality shows on television and for someone who loves sports like I do it just seemed a step more real than any other reality show. The final match was the other night and it was a great boxing match. I just wanted to give props to the winner Sergio cause he wasn't the strongest fighter there, but he was one of the smartest and quickest. When he busted out referencing The Alchemist you knew he was going to win.
Maybe it's just me being cheesy, but it sends shivers down my spine when the announcer belts out the "all for the winner by unanimous decision... the man they call the Latin Snake... SERRRRGIO MORA!!" The cool part is that Sergio always mouths his name along with the announcer and has this look of accomplishment on his face when he does. I so wish more people cared about this show so they bring it back next season.
Ah well... the comic... it came out better than I thought it would. Yuki was faced with either taking down Kelly or letting Key die. Is it going to be that cut and dry? My magic 8 ball says "Not likely". The conclusion of this chapter is rapidly approaching and you just know thing are going to keep getting crazy. One reason? Did I mention that the Full Moon ice blade is only the first step of what is the Full Moon technique of the Hyourinken? Just look at what it did to that hell spirit leech when it tried to attack Misaki earlier in the chapter... wasn't pretty. Will it be enough for Yuki to take down a goddess?
