"I hate the forums" Monday - May 16th, 2005
As the forum goers of the comic know, I had to recently upgrade the forum software in order for my hosting company to host it. It took the better part of the weekend and last night to finish the task and it's still not truly completed. It's really been a nightmare when all i really wanted to do is spend some time on the other NS project. However things seem up and running right now and I'm pleased that they are.
In the actual comic we shift the action once again from Kelly and Yuki back to the Joe fight. While it seems that Tom, Dave, and Jules are just trying to buy time, it seems they had a trick up their sleeve. Also as Dave implies in the very first panel, it was Jules who figured out Joe would go after her. It may seem odd that Dave wasn't the one to figure it out, but while Dave is a super mega ultra genius, he isn't too keen on social skills and reading people. This is an area that Jules seems to excel at and hopefully it comes across as such.
Oh and the whole flute thing? I'll tell you that yes, it is spirit, but the flute is not magical...
