"One More till 200" Monday - March 14th, 2005
First let's talk about today's comic. Salem once again looks like he's getting the upper hand over Yuki. Just how badly he does will be revealed in the very next strip. Some might wonder about Salem's penchant for peppery language and all I can say is that I don't have half the gift of tongue as the real man has. However we must move on to other things.
Spirit 200 beckons from later this week and you might wonder what it entails. As usual, you can expect a little more than your usual NS comic in terms of heft. It'll be a double size comic, which nowadays means around 18~20 panels. However quantity is nothing without quality and you'll see not only the outcome of the Yuki VS Salem fight, but a go around of the frightful Joe VS Tom fight as well. As Spirit 200 comes upon us we'll be pretty much on the tail end of this Chapter 3. I can only say that I am trying to make this end with as huge a bang that you'll be left breathing heavily with a euphoric feeling in your cranial area. Time will tell if I can reach such a lofty goal, but I promise I'll try.
Again I'm not celebrating this comic's 200th strip without some more fanfare than a special comic. There is a contest for a special limited edition poster and a popularity contest for the most popular NS characters as voted by the NS fans. Since I normally would only include a short little blurb here about the comic and I wanted to be a bit more in depth as NS inches toward the big 200 strip marker, I'll be back later tonight with a bit more comprehensive post. Till then I hope you enjoy the comic as always!!
