"The New Year" Sunday - January 2nd, 2005
I hope everyone enjoyed the New Year weekend. I had a pretty good time. My friends Tom and Mark came up from Albany Thursday night and we spent the whole night playing Winning Eleven 7. Good times. The following day we headed out to Tahou's to celebrate the New Year in style. They went home after we got back to Syracuse and The Kelly and I partook of first the Law & Order SVU marathon and then the Twilight Zone marathon.
So without mentioning it in the comic, Yuki has been sent off to Hell or something like it. Some of you may be waiting for the big training montage, but as you'll see there isn't going to be one. The hammer is about to fall on Yuki's idealistic views and just how he handles it may decide if he survives this training. I mean I wouldn't kill off the main character would I? Wouldn't I? Speaking of which, those of you who vote for this comic I have here on bCx will have seen the younger version of the surprise character in the last panel. You should already know if he really means bro literally or figuratively. The rest of you will find out on Thursday!!
Oh, and I don't beg often and I never do for this comic, but please remember the Tsunami relief efforts and give in any way you can!
