"Happy New Years Eve Eve" Wednesday - December 29th, 2004
Okay before I get into anything, I wanted to give Marissa props. That little Icebreaker mint comment came from one of her entries in the NS Forum Clan Wars game where players insert their own witty comments on a preexisting NS comic panel. She won big from using the Icebreaker mint tag line for the picture in Chapter One where Vase is holding a similar looking orb. So as an homage to the great work the people on my forum do, I had to throw in a small inside joke in there. I apologize if it distracts any of you.
This comic got a bit wordy, but I figured I was about due for another explain how things work comic. I know they ten to be a bit boring, but at least you know Yuki now has the potential to kick some serious ass right? And just so you all know, that moon was created in Photoshop. I didn't totally cheese out and throw up some clip art.
I want to conclude this news post by asking anyone and everyone who reads this comic for a favor. Please take the time to watch the news and read the paper to find out more about the tragedy that is unfolding in the Indian Ocean basin. So many lives lost and families broken. If you can find it in your heart and you are able, donate what you can to the Red Cross relief effort. You may only give a dollar or two, but that dollar may mean some person gets help. A good friend of mine lives on one of the islands in Indonesia that was not affected by the Tsunami disaster. She is a great person and when 9-11 broke out here in the states, she was one of the first to send an e-mail and her prayers to me. I want to return the favor by doing the same for her and by asking all of you to send your prayers and well wishes to the people affected by this sad and tragic event. All of you on the forum can personally send a private message or post on the forum to Adia to let her know that your thoughts are with her during this tragic time.
