"Thanksgiving in four days!!!" Sunday - November 21st, 2004
High school kids and their drama... It never ends and is a infallible truth. There is no other time in a person's life when the most inane romantic drama unfolds. Seriously. If these guys were like 30 year olds... Jules woulda just put her foot down and demanded Tom do something about their relationship. There's something to be said about the drama though cause as pointless as it is when you grow up, it is most definitely real shit when you're going through it. As real as anything you'll face when you're grown up to not be affected by shit like it. It's all relative. When you're in high school, you just haven't lived real life yet. Life is High School simply because like college, you're sheltered from outer society and live in this community half of your waking hours and interact with mostly people you know from said institution.
Well sorry about going on for a bit there... I'm sure the characters in NS have a little more on their plate than the standard high schooler, but hopefully there's a parallel in all of this to things in real life. At least it'd be cool if there was... I'm not that clever... I think...
On a side note, my favorite holiday is only four days away. I'm going down to LI to eat turkey and hang out with my cool friends. Well except for Joe and we all know he's just a traitorous kiwi anyway. Oh and George is going to playing a show with his band Hyjinx on Friday night after Thanksgiving at the Downtown on Long Island. I don't know if any of you people who read this will be around the area, but if you are, definitely come down and check out the band. Not only will George and myself be there, but The Kelly and even the Super Genius himself will be there. So stop in and I GUARANTEE you will have a great time!!
