"Queen of Winter" Wednesday - October 13th, 2004
I'll apologize in advance for introducing so many new faces in this chapter. I really want you to know that most of the appearances are there simply to lay groundwork for future chapters. Although the story is can be come convoluted if you keep looking at it, I try and keep it simple when I can. By not throwing in ten gazillion characters right off the bat I was able to build up the few that really mattered. So look for the focus of this chapter to now return to fighting the good fight against the rogue ninjas of Kelly and Joe.
Art? The last panels sucked, but everything else seemed okay. I liked how P2, 7, and 5 came out. I would also like to point out that the creature emblazoned on Mikail's back is an original design based off a fantasy creature that my good friend Mike created. I probably mentioned that he had written a fantasy book and it is from that book that the raven with batwings, a Ravette, comes from. I loved the imagery so much that I hope he doesn't mind that I used it in conjunction with the character I based off his likeness...
