"Scary..." Wednesday - October 3rd, 2004
A few new movies are coming out that I thought I would mention. I do love a good scary movie and what we have are three of them. Saw comes out at the end of the month and I know people on the forum are looking forward to it. Then there is White Noise as pointed out to me by Rob. A very interesting look at the EVP phenomenon complete with It's-been-ages-since-I've-been-in-a-movie Michael Keaton. Very cool. Then there is also The Grudge coming out in two weeks or so. You have probably already seen the trailer for it on tv. It stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and probably makes you think a bit of The Ring. For those that don't know it's basically a remake of a Japanese movie by the name of Juon. The cool thing is that the remake was filmed in Japan and the original director of the Japanese mpvie directed the remake as well. Very cool. So if you thought maybe this was not going to be a good movie, I'd suggest going to see it. The little kid is a freak.
Speaking of freaks, Tom sure looks like he's ready to kick St George's ass doesn't he? He does reveal a new power and the bad ass abaility to just deflect St George's power. Do you expect it to work on St George? You'll find out later this week. I will say that I did like the way P1, P5, and P7 came out. There were others that I would've added... like P2, but somehow there are little things in it that just keep it from being a great panel in my mind. Ah well...
