"150?" Wednesday - September 15th, 2004
Did Strip #150 just sneak up on me just like that? I don't want to make it that big of a deal though... I'll celebrate more when I get to 200. I still think it's pretty cool that there are 150 comics total now. Good times.
I actually got a fair amount of time to do today's comic and hopefully the extra time that went into it can be seen. Things like the broken glass wouldn't be there if I didn't have the extra time... The comic starts off kinda weak drawing-wise, but by the end I warmed up and the last few panels were actually pretty good by my standards.
C'mon, you didn't think this comic would turn into a cheesy soap opera did you? So now we have the reintroduction of one of Kelly's ninjas, Ramu into the storyline. As you can see, Kelly played the Yuki and co as fools again. It's up to Yuki to foil her plans and hold on to the Eye of the Phoenix. I'll let you know this much, Yuki might've bitten off more than he can chew.
Anyway, I want to thank both the fans and friends of Ninja Spirit. Thanks for continuing to vote for the comic. It's really unbelievable. I mean we never really climb out of the 90's, but we're consistently in there. I mean I see other comics get higher and then crash back down again. you guys just keep voting and keep NS firmly planted where it is despite any newcomers that might push us down even further. You guys are unbelievable and I want to thank you again!!
Oh and there will be a special fan art treat this weekend sent in by one of Ninja Spirit's finest fan and friend, STRATUSFOX!!! It'll be on the main page this weekend and then be moved into the extra section when the new comic comes out!! Thanks again Stratus!
