"The countdown to Otakon" Sunday - July 25th, 2004

I am so psyched because I'll be heading to Otakon this upcoming weekend with my friend Dave and a bunch of people he knows. It's going to be a blast. I was hoping to meet some other webcomics there, but it looks like a majority of them are skipping out on Otakon this year. That's quite alright though. I probably should bring NS stuff there, but I want to be able to enjoy myself and the experience this time. I plan to soak in what everyone says is one of the biggest anime cons there is. If any of you are heading down that way shoot me an e-mail or just look for the only Asian wearing a Intermilan jersey.

Maybe this comic will look better after a night of sleep, but for some reason it just doesn't do it for me. I mean it looks fine and all, but it's like just something is slightly off everywhere. It's probably me. I did have trouble with the script though and ended up doing two rewrites on the spot post production. As you can see the action is about wound down now that Kelly is calling back the hounds and Yuki is about to fall unconscious. Tons of stuff are set up for the next chapter though. However you didn't think I'd end things without some action in the spirit plane did you? Picture it as a dichotomy. The breaking up of friends and the reunion of friends. So stay tuned for Thursday's comic because even though things are winding down, there's still plenty of twists to throw your way!!
