"Fucking Chuck Norris..." Sunday - June 20th, 2004

This weekend I got to go see Dodgeball. While I think many might not think it was that great of a movie, I loved it. The physical gags aside, the little surprises here and there were classics, most notably the airport scene and the last line of the movie. I mean you knew how some things were going to happen, but it didn't matter at all since it was a spoof in its own right of sports movies. It's definitely worth a see so go check it out at a theater near you.

Other than that The Kelly did treat me to an early birthday dinner at Red Lobster. RL biscuits = Good Times.

I am pleased to note the art in this strip is decidedly on the upswing from recent comics. I pretty much liked how all the panels came out. I also decided to make a difference between Tom and Yuki's body type. I figured that's nice Tom was the sportsman and a all star football player, he would even at a young age, have a more muscular frame. Yuki's by comparison has little muscle definition like most kids his age. Maybe it works or maybe it doesn't, but I liked the way it came out.

I tell you, that Yuki never stops trying to find a trick to pull out of his sleeve. This fight's conclusion is on its way, but the ending might not be what you were expecting. We'll finally get to see what's been going on through Tom's mind and why he has been seeking Yuki's death with such single-minded determination. You'll find out soon enough...
