"Musical Dentists" Wednesday - June 9th, 2004

I really don't want to talk about what's going on with my tooth simply because I don't even want to deal with it right now. Suffice to say I did not get my tooth pulled, I don't think I'm going to a very good dentist since she just up and left for lunch, and I'm an idiot. But let's not talk about that right now because it's upsetting me. I do need to get to sleep though because the antibiotics make me feel weak whenever I take them.

My brother is coming up to visit me this weekend so that should be fun. I'm not entirely sure what we'll be doing for the weekend, but I'm sure we can think of something. I'll let you know all about it on Monday.

Rob lent me a tape off JJ Fad. I think that's the name of the group. It's something. Just what that something is I'm not even quite sure yet.

Anyway I think the drugs are starting to make me loopy so I'll move on to the comic. This was a weird one to draw for me. It's one of those things where you have this great scene in your head, but you worry endlessly on whether or not you can get it safely out of your head without it losing anything. I did my best here and as far as the art goes I think I did better than I has expected. Some of the poses are off, but I think P6 and P8 are dead on for what I had imagined. Since they are the real pivotal pieces in this puzzle, I'm placated art quality wise.

Now as for how the impact of those images and words worked, I 'm not quite sure. I have the benefit of seeing the vestal virgin version of the scene you read above that's been in my head the whole time. Everyone else must suffer my insufferable attempts at translating that vision into something I can share with you all. Mostly though I hope it makes you feel something for Julienne's sake. Just how will this fight turn out now that we know Tom will continue on trying to kill Yuki? As usual you'll find out come Monday
