"Tahou's" Sunday - April 4th, 2004

Here are the first ten songs played out from my entire library of songs set on random (no matter how embarrassing)

1. "Jailhouse Rock"- Elvis Presley
2. "I Love Rock n Roll" - Joan Jett
3. "Hole in my Soul" - Aerosmith
4. "King of Rock" - Run DMC
5. "Gee Whiz" - Embarrassing Rex
6. "You Get Me" - Michelle Branch
7. "Same Old Song" - Sev
8. "The Glory of Love" - New Found Glory
9. "Love Bites" - Def Leppard
10. "Android" - Green Day

So this weekend was a good weekend for me. The Kelly came over on Friday night and asked if I wanted to take a trip out to Tahou's on Saturday. Do you really need to be told what my answer was? So we drove all the way out to Rochester to partake of a Garbage Plate. Unfortunately we did not find any Watermelon Snapple at the Wegmans near Tahou's.

Damn that George and getting us hooked on the Watermelon Snapple. It really is good. As George would say it's as if you were really eating the watermelon. It's not too sweet and syrupy, nor is it too watery. If you can find some in a store near you try it and then send me some.

The second round of the Battle of Spirit begins this week. It's down to the Elite Eight and all the matches should provide some good moments. We already have the match between Yuki and Julienne under way.

The comic wasn't bad this time around. I had a tough time getting this one down. I'm still not happy with everyone's expressions in this strip. I feel that words in a strip can only convey details and the emotion of those words are driven by the pictures themselves. I don't feel that I did a great job of that in this strip. It must be one of those days. Other then that I think it turned out pretty decent. The low angle shot of Tenko is a new experimental shot. So I'm happy that came out as well as it did.

As much as expressions were giving me problems I had problems with the storyline for this one as well. I knew the general outline of what was supposed to happen, but the script just wasn't working out quite right. I think the finished product came out a ton better than what I had originally. I mean it's pretty funny to me, but maybe not as funny to the rest of you?

Is this the extent of Tenko's training? Yuki will have a tough time climbing up a hill with a reluctant Joe on his back, but what does this have to do with Spirit? You'll see as Yuki's training continues on Thursday when he dances with shadows!!

Vote for Ninja Spirit!!

River is amused at himself.
