"Beef jerky is not only tasty, it's fun to make" Sunday - March 21st, 2004 Before I go into anything too serious I'd like to list my current ten songs from my play list.
This new list of playlist songs seems all over the place. I see two Fighting Spirit theme songs in there. My favorite in the entire group is probably "Diary of a Madman" by the Gravediggaz. When I first heard this song, I was just simply blown away by how creepy it is. Of course the first time I heard it, we were driving through back roads in search of Mary's Grave down on Long Island. Regardless, it still gives me a chill in the right situations. I'm heading at the end of the week to attend my first wedding ever. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm sure everything will be fine. I just show up in jeans and a Ninja Spirit shirt right? Right. Okay, I will mention that the Battle of Spirit will commence first thing tomorrow with the first match between Misaki Yuki and Mr. Murphy. Although I am no longer accepting entry forms, everyone is still encouraged to vote for your favorite NS characters. You can vote by registering on the Ninja Spirit forums or by sending me an e-mail at river@ninja-spirit.com. I also want to remind TMBGeorge, Joey Diesel, and shove that the deadline to hand in your completed brackets is 11 PM Monday night. The entry form is posted in the Battle of Spirit section of the NS forum. You can private message or e-mail me the completed form. So about this comic... I really didn't have any problems with the art in this comic. I actually really like the way Kelly looks in the last panel. Also I wanted to point out that I started to thicken up Tenko's eyes. I don't know if anyone noticed or if it even makes that big of a difference, but I like them. Some new developments happening now huh? Wondering how Kelly got in Dave's room after talking to Reiko? That's not too hard since she was talking to him on the roof of the hospital. The real question has to be just what is Kelly doing to Dave? Though I think if you go back and start rereading the events surrounding Spirit 49 and 50 you will probably figure it out. If you were to go back and reread the end of Chapter One, you'll even notice how clever Kelly was in turning the topic of conversation away from any inquiries that would reveal her secret. At the time one might've assumed she was just tired of listening to Joe bitch, but as you can see Kelly is a very clever one. In fact, you'll even get to see how clever she is on Thursday as she and Joe face off in a momentous encounter. Despair and pride!! Next time on Ninja Spirit!!
