"Forum Madness on Leap Year" Sunday - February 29th, 2004

Now that's what I'm talking about. Everyone on the NS forums has found or will find a couple of cool changes to the board. Not only have I added additional info fields like a birthday and zodiac sign, but I have also added a small rpg like display which will show you some interesting info on your posting habits. I'm not too sure exactly how it works, but it's pretty interesting and it's something to keep the NS board fresh and new.

This weekend went by a little too quickly for my tastes. I enjoyed it thoroughly and got a chance to rest last night. Someone posted an amusing commercial at the Naruto boards so here is the link for it. There's a bunch of them, but that one is pretty amusing.

I was going to check out Sprout this weekend at Binghamton, but things beyond their control prevented the band from coming up to play. I was pretty bummed, but that's life I suppose. The Kelly and I did get to watch a lot of Naruto and that's always a good thing.

So about Ninja Spirit, We're coming up on the big 1-0-0 pretty quick and then the Tuesday after that will be the one year anniversary of NS!!! Pretty exciting stuff I tell you. I know that I will be giving something away for the anniversary, but I still haven't decided on an appropriate contest quite yet.

As for the comic, I kinda liked the way everything turned out. Joe was kinda weak in P3 in the first draft, but I redid it and it turned out a lot better. I also stopped cheesing out on the backgrounds and actually made some new ones for this strip. It's a shame P6 turned out so small, but Julienne and Dave came out really well.

This is one of those moments that might start defining characters. Both Julienne and Joe had a chance to stop Tom from killing Dave and it was Julienne that stepped in to save the Ultra Super Mega Genius. The consequences of the actions taken, or not, will become an impact for future strips down the road. However to speak in the more immediate future, will Tom kill Julienne? I doubt it too, but will he just let Dave walk away? How far is Julienne willing to stick her neck out for a guy she just met earlier that day for a couple of minutes? Where the F is Yuki during all of this?
