Comic for Thursday February 19th, 2004

"And so we head into the big showdown" Wednesday - February 18th, 2004

I don't really have anything new to report. I'm tired and ready for the weekend, SSDD. So ergo I will talk pretty much about the comic today. Let's start with the forum. Those already in the forums will have noticed that I have organized the forums a bit better by adding a few categories. Nothing really spectacular, but I assume it'll make things easier for people if they are looking for certain types of posts.

Now for the comic itself I have to say as far as the art goes I'm split between liking some of the panels a lot and thinking the others are pretty bad. I did love how the full shots of Dave and Tom looked in P6 and P4 respectively. I don't know if anyone else is noticing, but it seems to me that I have been getting better recently. I know I'm constantly getting better just because I draw every day, but something about the last few weeks has got me feeling pretty comfortable while drawing.

Again, I'm not saying it's great, just better.

So here we got heading into next week about to start off the big showdown between Tom and Dave. I know Tom's got his "Earth Shaker" and the advantage of surprise, but it seems as if Dave might have something hidden up his sleeve as well. I think the difference between the two also makes for an interesting fight. Where Dave moves with precision and purpose, Tom moves with gut instinct and lightning quick reaction. But now who will win this fight? Like Tom said this next move by either Dave or himself will decide the outcome. So be sure to stop by on Monday to see who wins this bad boy fight.
