"All About the Sprout" Wednesday - January 7th, 2004

Okay I'm all snowed in at my place... Damn snow... To get my mind off food I shall now rant about a few things.

My time is now being taken up by this comic, Trigun, Naruto, Kingdom Hearts, and NHL 2004. I need serious help. It's like a murderer's row of addictive you-don't-need-sleep-that-badly vices. Curse all that are responsible!!

In case you didn't see the announcement in the forum, the double log in problem has been taken care of and should you hover your mouse over an avatar it should tell you the name of the member. Not really all that impressive since the name is right there anyway, but it's my first MOD. At least I didn't kill the forum this time...

Since I am in need of serious sleep I will get right to the comic. I'm happy with the way the comic came out. All in all I think George looks more like George then he did in his previous appearance referenced to by Yuki. You don't really get to see too much of the rest of Sprout mainly because Sprout has changed about half its members since I had originally designed the chara designs. So all you get is GZA and the back of Lee's head. On another note... the polished gym floor in P1 is a nice touch I think. Even though the characters don't say anything in P1, their expressions should fill in exactly what they are thinking about at that moment in time. Well... maybe except for Kelly, but then again we don't really know what's going on in that pretty little head of hers now do we? And where did she disappear off to....??

So what's up with Miss homecoming school spirit cheerleader? My answer is that every school has one. But why make a "original" character just to have her or him for one panel? I plead the 5th.

Man... Joe isn't cutting Yuki any slack for the whole Keylie thing is he?

I do want to point out that Sprout is indeed a real band that my friend George is a member in. They are based in long Island, New York and have played all around the East Coast. I know I've mentioned them before, but they really are a great band. Go check out their website filled with up to the date info about tour dates, band info, and music samples!!. You know I never really did ask George if it was okay to throw Sprout in this comic...  Ehhhhh....
