Comic for Monday December 22nd, 2003

"Just as good the second time around" Sunday - December 21st, 2003

This weekend was a blast. Tom and a few guys I lived with in the dorms while I was at college came into town. On Friday night, Tom, Jon, Heather, Nate, and I went to Dinosaur BBQ for some good eats. It was cool since I hadn't really gotten a chance to sit down and talk to those guys since we all graduated. There was also a blues band playing so we got to eat to some good tunes.

The next day we all met up in Rochester and since they had not seen Return of the King yet, The Kelly and I want to see again. It was just as good the second time around. You'd think we'd be burnt out after seeing it just that Wednesday, but we weren't. Everyone agreed that the movie rocked and we celebrated such cinematic greatness by going to Tahoe's to eat. Tahoe's was perfect as usual and after a trip to Krispy Kreme we parted ways and drove back home.

I hope no one has any problems with the new forum. Like I said, there's some things that are better with the new forum and things that were better in the old one. I think though that the advantages of the new forum outweigh those from the old one. Plus after going back and reposting all those old entries in the new board, I'm not about to go back tot he old one. Anyway if anyone is still having problems logging in or what not email me.

After a poor performance last strip, I think I rebounded quite nicely with this one. I liked the way most of the panels turned out. Even the weakest one, P4 isn't bad if it wasn't such a far view of Kelly. I am very fond of P2 and P5.I just liked the way they turned out.

So where the hell did Kelly whip that out of? I don't know either. I mean what's up with this talk about spirit? I know that it's a part of the comic title, but did we really expect it to have anything to do with the comic? Plus just when you think you know who's on what side, Tom has to go and say something like that in the last panel. Just why am I writing all these questions that cannot be answered right now?

Before you all think that everything is all serious and stuff, we're going to be taking you back to Yuki and Joe for Christmas Eve. For now the plan is to have a regular comic. You never know what can happen during Christmas Eve so I do have a backup picture planned, but hopefully I can stick with putting up a regular comic.
