Comic for Thursday December 4th, 2003

"Welcome Back Kotter" Wednesday - December 3rd, 2003

Well here we go again! After a week of off time, the comic comes back with a larger then usual one. Also my voice is almost back to normal. I can talk and people can actually hear what I say without having to stand right next to me. My throat still is feeling weird though as it's still scratchy, dry, and sore. Plus the coughing doesn't seem to want to go away. Ah well...

It's also good to see the forum active again. Thanks to seeing Joe's crazy test up on the forum, gave me an idea. I'm not about to spring it out yet, but some thing you should all enjoy is in the works. I'll probably be able to work on it this weekend and have it ready for the Sunday comic. We'll see just how it goes.

I really don't have much else to say I guess. We can't have huge news posts every update you know. Oh for those that might not have caught it, I posted again on Monday for the last comic and mentioned my weekend fun and also my aired my exclusive thoughts on the Johannesburg Development sheet. if you wanna go read it, just check out Monday's strip by hitting the previous shuriken up above.

I will mention that work had a faculty holiday sale last night. They had tons of food and better yet it was Dinosaur BBQ food!! Sweet.

I will mention that I don't know if it is the rust of not drawing a strip in a week, but I feel like this one could've been better. The art's actually pretty good, but the backgrounds on some of the panels really need some work. P6 really makes me cringe. I will say that P7 works well for me as does P1. The weird thing is that I liked the line art of the girl better for P4, but here p3 seems to come to life a bit more. Oh well.

Storyline moves well though. Not only does it give you all some more info on the powerful Tom Brisket, but it also confirms that for all of Dave's super mega ultra genius, talking to a pretty girl seems to confound his massive vocabulary to a few "huhs?". In case you might not have recognized her due to the fact her hair is in ponytails and she's wearing different clothes, this is indeed the same girl from the first strip of Chapter Two.

What is her name?

You didn't think I'd tell you this soon did you?
